Hans Rosling debates the changing face of aid with Hand In Hand founder Percy Barnevik

Hans Rosling, the renowned academic and public speaker, teamed up with philanthropist Percy Barnevik to discuss world poverty at a recent event organised by Hand in Hand Sweden in Stockholm.

Hans gave an informed and entertaining overview of global poverty in the 21st century. Percy talked about his involvement with the Hand in Hand network, the role of business in development and why corporations need to engage in combating poverty through entrepreneurship.

The two men were speaking to an audience of over 100 people drawn from the corporate, NGO, government and civil society worlds.

The event was sponsored by Grant Thornton and the discussion was moderated by Dagens Industry – the leading financial daily in Sweden.
