We are seeking experienced individuals or organisations to provide technical assistance to saffron-producing companies in Herat, Afghanistan.

We are particularly keen to hear from organisations with proven experience supporting saffron producers in Afghanistan to reach new international markets.

Our key objective is to provide companies with support to adopt a more market-driven approach by strengthening their capacity in: accessing and positioning products in high-value international markets; branding, marketing, product diversification, international sales, trade fairs, online sales and digital marketing

The consultancy will include the development of practical training and coaching materials, to be delivered in the local language, online and in-person.

Essential requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working in Afghanistan, preferably with saffron producers
• Strong expertise in international marketing and market development
• Experience developing practical training materials and delivering capacity-building programmes
