Michelle Gillan
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager

With more than 10 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, Michelle has designed, implemented and evaluated programmes for survivors of torture living in Ireland, people with learning disabilities and their families in the UK, children living in poverty across the UK, and impoverished people throughout the developing world, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining Hand in Hand she worked for Save the Children UK and Fairtrade.
Michelle holds an MA in International Security and Conflict Studies from Dublin City University and a post-grad certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Rights and the Law, with a focus on corporate governance and impact on social indicators, from Open University.
