Dorothea Arndt

CEO

Passionate about entrepreneurship, Dorothea began her career as Marketing Director at start-up Kelkoo, playing a key part in making the platform Europe’s leading shopping search engine. Before joining Hand in Hand International, she managed sales and communications teams at companies including Yahoo, Shell and PwC, and transitioned to not-for profit at the British Red Cross. She joined Hand in Hand in 2013.

Dorothea has shared Hand in Hand’s model of small enterprises with big ambitions at the 2014 Bond conference and 2017 Giving Women Conference alongside speakers including Mary Ellen Iskanderian, president and CEO of Women’s World Banking, and Ziad Ayoubi, Head of UNHCR’s Livelihoods Unit. She occasionally blogs on Business Fights Poverty.
