We’re proud to launch our new 2030 Strategy – an ambitious roadmap to reach an additional 160,000 people living in poverty while building the partnerships and evidence needed to scale our impact far beyond our direct programmes.
The strategy builds on an incredible five years, during which our programmes increased participants’ enterprise incomes by an average of 136%, and helped 80% of women gain greater decision-making power over their lives. Together, the global Hand in Hand network has created 12.6 million+ jobs to date — aiming to reach 15m by 2030.
But with women’s rights under increasing pressure and poverty rising in many parts of sub-Saharan Africa and Afghanistan, the need for our work has never been greater. Read our 2030 Strategy here to see how we plan to reach more women, more effectively, over the next four years.
